Only the Dutch of the European nations would think to compare it to the <i>DaiKan</i> (and call it the Morohashi, as most of us Indo-European students do... until we have to call it the <i>DaiKan</i> to be understood by our Japanese profs). A frustrating thing with Morohashi and OED is running across words that don't have entries. Which is more common with my experience in the many volumes of the Morohashi than I should like to have thought possible. Ha! A frustrating thing with Morohashi and OED is running across words that don’t have entries. Which is more common with my experience in the many volumes of the Morohashi than I should like to have thought possible.
